a mile from downtown. Brattleboro is
an attractive community with a good hospital.
Holton Home is licensed by Vermont's
Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and
is a member of AAHSA, the American Association of Homes
and Services for the Aging.
Our History
Holton Home is more than 100 years old, founded in 1892
as "an old ladies’ home" for the people of
Brattleboro. It has been in continuous operation as a
